One of the United Kingdom’s largest airlines, British Airways (BA) is also the country’s flag carrier. It operates from hubs at London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Gatwick Airport (LGW). The carrier, which was established in 1974, is a founding member of the Oneworld alliance. It flies to more than 160 destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America and Oceania. This includes six domestic destinations. It also has codeshare agreements with about 25 other carriers. BA’s fleet, which is the largest of any UK airline, consists of 295 aircraft. Cabin configurations vary, but may include First Class, Business Class (branded as Club Europe or Club World), Premium Economy Class (branded as World Traveller Plus) and Economy Class (branded as Europe Traveller, World Traveller or UK Domestic).
