Naples Airport Reviews

★★★★★
Ben organizzato, pulito ed efficiente. Un city airport con i fiocchi, soprattutto quando sarà servito dalla metropolitana. Peccato per lo spazio di ampliamento che è praticamente nullo.
- Luca Esposito

★★★★★
One of my favorites airports in Europe, very new and clean with a lot of good shops in the Terminal. The only negative thing is how to get to the airport. From the centre there is a bus every 30 minutes that costs 3-4€, but it doesn't stops very near to the Terminal and also the rental cars are a little bit fare away from the airport.
- Gianluca Möller

★★★★☆
Nice airport. Lots of space. Wifi is good. Spot of bother trying to connect. Couldn't find any restaurants airside for a sit down meal. Only sandwich places. Walk to the aircraft was short. There are air bridges, but we boarded by bus.
- Jevon Keane-Brennan

★★★★☆
This airport is a pearl, very clean and cosy. It is improved a lot in the last years; the furnitures are very comfortable with coaches and armchairs made in leather. The check-in area is quiet big and the process is fast. There are also a stores but it need to have more for food. The airport is not too far from the city centre but tehre is a lack of connection with just bus (Alibus) who depart every 30'.
- Fabio Gigante

★★★★☆
The airport of Naples is located next to the city but it is not simple to arrive with a public transport. There is jsut one bus line (Alibus) and the ticket costs 3 € (if you buy it on the bus it costs 4 €). The airport is a gem, new and shining and very clean.
- Fabio Gigante

★★★★★
The airport is very clean and new.The check-in is fast and there are very nice shops and resaturant. The wi-fi is great and free. The only one problem is how to arrive with public trasports olso if it is located next to the city. This problem will be ok with the new subway...

★☆☆☆☆
If I exclude "budget-only" airports, I think I'd have to say that this is the worst airport I've had the misfortune of flying from. In fact, some of the budget airports are considerably better. I despised every minute in this airport. From the extremely rude check-in agent who refused to communicate with me in any language (I tried English, Italian and French, which should have been sufficient for a flight to Brussels), to the rude security staff, to the woman checking our passports who didn't have the courtesy to make eye contact (nor the common sense to realise that you cannot verify a passenger's identity without looking at them!). I did not recall coming into contact with a single member of staff who did not appear to have an attitude problem. Getting to the airport is terrible, and the approach road is wholly inadequate for the volume of traffic. The terminal is nice and new, and was in all fairness clean. However, I would argue that it suffers from many design flaws. Most flights appeared to need buses out to remote stands, in spite of the fact that there were plenty of contact stands available, and plenty more could have been built if the developers had the foresight to think this one through! My overwhelming impression was that this was the rudest airport I have ever visited. And whilst some would argue that this is a cultural thing in Naples in general, I refuse to condone such abysmal service for this reason.

★★★☆☆
The car rental location is a shuttle-bus ride away from the terminal. We had to wait for the next shuttle as the one ready to go when we arrived was already full. Count on up to 20 minutes for the shuttle. If you're coming from the city, the road is twisty, cobblestoned, and lined with trash and garbage. It is a very rough ride. However, we came in from the autostrada and it was not too bad. The rating is for the drive in from the city centre.

★☆☆☆☆
Check in was terrible. Arrived 3 hours before our departure and got to the front of check in as the gate opened. It took 30 minutes to process 8 individual people as part of a group which only required a ticket and a passport scan. The other 30 people in the group were waiting at the gate for over an hour. Awful airport.
