Norwegian is a low cost airline and is the second biggest carrier in Scandinavia. Founded in 1993, the airline is also known as Norwegian Air Shuttle. The largest of Norwegian’s 17 operating bases is at Oslo Airport in Norway. The airline flies to over 125 destinations across 35 countries in Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Of these destinations, around 20 are domestic ones. It’s fleet consists of 93 Boeing and Airbus aircraft which are used for their short haul flights. Norwegian also have 8 Boeing vessels which they use for their long haul flights. All of Norwegian’s short haul flight aircraft have a single Economy class cabin, whereas their long haul flights have a cabin for Premium Economy Class as well as the Standard Economy Class.
