It also has a number of conference facilities available for hire by businesses. There are several art installations located within the departure hall which give visitors an appreciation of Norwegian culture during their stay at the airport.
Bergen Airport was first opened on August 10th 1955 and since then it has grown significantly to accommodate over 6 million passengers every year travelling through its gates both domestically and internationally.
