The promotion is located in terminals 1 and 3 and will run throughout February.
The Gold Collection — which is exclusive to travel retail — is made up of four fragrances, numbered from I to IV.
The Ajmal Gold Collection I fragrance is a fruity floral scent that offers plum and strawberry top notes, jasmine and geranium heart notes, and patchouli and amber base notes; while Ajmal Gold Collection II is a spicy floral fragrance that offers notes of bergamot, cypress, and ylang ylang.
Ajmal Gold Collection III offers mandarin and grapefruit top notes, balanced with rose and violet floral heart notes; while Ajmal Gold Collection IV offers bergamot and grapefruit top notes with amber, patchouli, and oak moss as its base.
Ajmal Perfumes said it has grown consistently within the channel, claiming double-digit year-on-year growth in 2019.
Ajmal Perfumes has a portfolio of over 300 fragrances. It has a strong domestic distribution network and is available in more than 240 ‘Crafting Memories’ retail stores.
Ajmal Perfumes Head of Travel Retail Oscar Menezes commented: “We had double-digit growth over 2018, and the brand is getting further recognition in travel retail.
“We have had great success with the Ajmal Gold Collection in duty free stores as well as airlines such as Etihad Airways,” Menezes added.
The company exports to more than 45 countries and currently has more than 30 duty free locations worldwide. Its travel retail partners include Abu Dhabi Duty Free, Muscat Duty Free, Bahrain Duty Free, CTC-ARI and Cairo Duty Free. It also has an inflight presence onboard Etihad Airways, British Airways, KLM, Oman Air and Air Arabia among others.
