“Unbeatable offers from the most popular brands”: Heinemann opens non-Schengen duty free store at Bratislava Airport

SLOVAKIA. Gebr. Heinemann has opened a new Heinemann Travel Value & Duty Free Shop in the non-Schengen departure area of Bratislava Airport.

The 160sq m store offers a range of local and international products from all assortment categories such as perfume & cosmetics, spirits & wine, tobacco, toys and confectionery.

Heinemann said it would offer changing monthly special offers and seasonal or themed campaigns in a “modern and bright” environment.

“In this shop we focus above all on our great prices. Passengers will find unbeatable offers from the most popular brands under one roof,” said Fritz Janach, Retail Manager of the Heinemann Travel Value & Duty Free Shops in Bratislava. “We are very pleased to be able to launch this concept together with Bratislava Airport.”

The new store, together with the existing 350sq m Heinemann Travel Value & Duty Free Shop in the Schengen area, is intended to meet increasing demand as the airport experiences continued growth. It served 1.7 million passengers last year.

“I am proud to be a partner with Bratislava Airport since 2007. Extending our business with the new shop gives us the opportunity to serve all departing passengers from Bratislava to Russia, Turkey or Egypt – just to mention a few destinations,” added Janach.

Bratislava Airport CEO Jozef Pojedinec commented: “Heinemann is for us a stable, long term and fair partner. We highly appreciate the mutual cooperation. We very much welcome the opening of a new duty free shop that will expand the offer of duty free products for our passengers in the non-Schengen area.”
