Nudestix makes travel retail debut with The Loop in Dublin Airport

IRELAND. Canadian make-up brand Nudestix has opened its first airport counter with The Loop in Dublin Airport Terminal 2 – its first in travel retail. It was unveiled on 9 December and offers the brand’s entire beauty range.

“Nudestix is not a product that any beauty executive with 20 years of experience would create, because we don’t think like the up-and-coming generation. They have been influenced by technology, have access to curated lifestyles, and need their makeup to be easy, cool, and not look like too much effort was made.” – Jenny Frankel

Nudestix was founded by President Jenny Frankel and was inspired by her daughters Ally and Taylor. Jenny Frankel is a multi-award winning cosmetics business professional. She began her career by formulating products for MAC Cosmetics, before creating cosmeceutical complexion brand Cover FX.

According to Jenny Frankel, the brand was designed to appeal to young ‘digital-savvy’ millennials. She said, “Nudestix is not a product that any beauty executive with 20 years of experience would create, because we don’t think like the up-and-coming generation. They have been influenced by technology, have access to curated lifestyles, and need their makeup to be easy, cool, and not look like too much effort was made.”

“As for brushes, forget it… fingers are their preferred choice. Today’s generation want to share their beauty look instantly on Instagram; that’s why with every product purchased Ally & Taylor ask you to post your selfie on Instagram,” she added.

According to the brand company, it caters to a ‘white space’ in the cosmetics industry for new neutral-tones and easy to use make-up products. Nudestix’s ingredients are sourced in Europe and are enhanced with vitamins, anti-oxidants, and moisturisers.

Nudestix’s formulations are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. Its products contain no parabens, gluten nor preservatives.

“We believe a natural look is a perfect fit for any face. We’re all born with our own unique look, so why cover it up with tons of makeup?” – Ally & Taylor Frankel

Nudestix’s range is made up of a Lip + Cheek Pencil, Concealer Pencil, Eye Pencil, Magnetic Eye Colour, Magnetic Matte Lip Colour, Eyebrow Stylus + Setting Gel, Mascara, Nudies All Over Face Colour, Nudies Bloom, and Tinted Cover.

The brand is managed in travel retail by Flores Brand Works, a company led by Lori Fiori & Karine Fleury who formerly held positions with The Estée Lauder Companies.
