Kate Spade & Company has opened a pop-up shop at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.
It is the first Kate Spade New York travel retail shopping destination in the UK, the company said, and follows the opening of the brand’s first European travel retail location in Oslo, Norway.
US company Coach completed its acquisition of Kate Spade today (12 June) for a total transaction value of US$2.4 billion (US$18.50 per share).
The Kate Spade pop-up shop at Heathrow features product categories including handbags, small leather goods, fashion accessories, jewellery, technology, and stationery.
The premium fashion, accessories and lifestyle brand commented:
“The pop-up shop is designed to evoke the timeless, joyful spirit of Kate Spade New York including the brand’s signature green display walls, wood panelled floors, mirrored brass accents and sputnik light fixtures.”
Heathrow Retail and Service Proposition Director Chris Annetts said:
“We are really excited to welcome Kate Spade New York to Heathrow, and we are delighted they have chosen Terminal 5 as their first UK travel retail home. Their arrival brings our passengers yet another exciting international brand with a fantastic range of accessories they’ll love.”
