CHINA. The Estée Lauder Companies-owned fragrance house Jo Malone London has partnered with China Duty Free Group to launch the ‘JoBots’ activation at the Haikou Mova Mall. The JoBots animation runs throughout April.
The JoBots were assembled from Jo Malone London’s signature cream and black packaging. The dedicated ‘robotic’ servers highlight the gifting appeal of Jo Malone London’s products.
The immersive gifting experience features a giant JoBots vending machine, interactive video game and travel retail-exclusive cartoon animation which features different Hainan-themed characters.
The reach of Jo Malone London’s JoBots also extends digitally, with the playful robots featuring in a new WeChat Mini Programme. Travellers can interact with the JoBots on WeChat to get the chance to play with the vending machine at the pop-up and win exclusive prizes.
