Jessica’s Secret adds new one-stop tool for promotion listing

CHINA. Price comparison app Jessica’s Secret has launched a new resource for brands and retailers to list promotions.

The new tool is in line with the app’s aim of simplifying the route between duty free consumers and businesses. Jessica’s Secret said the facility is designed to bring previously fragmented information on promotions together in one place.

“This is what we’ve been struggling with: we constantly receive inquiries from our users asking what the promotions are in certain retailers when they have their soon-to-be-visiting shops in mind,” Jessica’s Secret CEO Mirko Wang said.

“I would like to break the barriers and to be the one to form a channel that efficiently pulls both ends together. With a full understanding of each party’s concerns, Jessica’s Secret devotes herself [to being] a one-stop platform that gathers all the appealing promotional information possible for consumers to spot and business partners to engage.”

Users of Jessica’s Secret can access the listed promotions mainly on the app’s coupon section, as well as the home, destination, mall and product comparison pages.

The resource has been piloted with selected products from Pernod Ricard, Shiseido, Foreo and Neuhaus. Shiseido Travel Retail Media & Digital Marketing Manager Shi Ling Tan said: “We are honoured to partner with Jessica’s Secret in leveraging their promotion resources. Recognising the need to create a frictionless journey for ‘Checklist’ travellers, we believe the solution is a space that would become stronger as brands and retailers come onboard.

“Jessica’s Secret remains a key direct-to-consumer touchpoint and we look forward to working closely with Mirko and his team in the continuous refinement of the Chinese travellers’ shopping journey.”
