One of the biggest travel retailers in the world, Dubai Duty Free, are set to increase their shop space at Dubai Airport by another 1,300sqm in the near future. They are also set to increase their retail space at Al Maktoum Airport by 5,000sqm at a later date (Summer 2018).
Chief Operating Officer Ramesh Cidambi had this to say to The Moodie Davitt Report: “Currently what we find is that some passengers do not access the existing stores at the apron level and these new shops will serve that need. The offer will include all of the core categories and there will be a small watches offer too.”
