Philadelphia Airport (IATA: PHL, ICAO: KPHL), is an airport serving the Philadelphia area in United States. PHL started in 1925 as a training field for the Pennsylvania National Guard, and Charles Lindbergh designated it as an airport in 1927. In 1940, a terminal was built, and the National Weather Service put up a weather station. It was used during WWII as a training airfield, and it was home to a flight school. After the war, PHL offered non-stop flights to Europe.
Parking is available long- and short-term, as well as bicycle access and charging stations for hybrid and all-electric cars. There are some height restrictions in the parking garages.
