Asia Pacific Duty Free sales rise by 10%

Duty Free and Retail sales in the Asia Pacific region have grown by 10% in the first nine months of 2016 according to the association behind the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference.

President Erik Juul-Mortensen said “While business slowed in all other areas of the world in the first nine months of 2016, Asia Pacific was the only region to show growth, gaining a substantial 10% and tipping the global market back into the positive, according to preliminary figures from Generation Research. This region therefore remains a market that must be a top priority for our business. Attending the event will provide delegates with the essential insight to help them thrive here.”

For the 2016 TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference, over 2,900 people attended which was up by over 2,500 from 2015. There are already 275 exhibitors signed up. The Exhibition and Conference is to be held at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore from 7th to the 11th May 2017. For more information, just visit www.TFWA.com.
