Founded in 2007, AirAsia X (D7) is a medium- and long-haul low-cost carrier and subsidiary of Malaysian airline AirAsia (AK). The airline operates from a hub at Kuala Lumpur Airport (KUL) and flies to 19 destinations in countries such as Australia, China, Japan, Korea, Nepal, Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka. AirAsia X’s fleet of 20 Airbus A330-300 aircraft is configured with two cabins: Premium Class and Economy Class. The Premium Class cabin features lie-flat seats, as well as amenities such as priority check-in and boarding, premium meals, a free baggage allowance and unlimited ticket changes.
