Also known as Dubai World Central, DWC offers four runways with the ability to handle A380 superjumbo aircraft operating 24 hours a day. Simultaneous landing capabilities keep this airport moving, and three terminals and numerous concourses help it run efficiently. It will eventually link to its sister airport, Dubai International Airport, via a high-speed rail system.

The goal is to see more passenger flights than freight flights by 2027.
Traveling to and from the airport is convenient, with taxi, bus, and metro services available, as well as car rentals. Car parking is available for short- and long-term stay.
