Pernod Ricard Travel Retail EMEA toasts its Winemakers portfolio

In partnership with World Duty Free, Pernod Ricard Travel Retail EMEA has launched an immersive pop-up space at London Gatwick Airport (South Terminal) to celebrate the unique qualities of two wine brands in its portfolio. Pernod Ricard’s Winemakers, an affiliate of Pernod Ricard responsible for the wine business, boasts a selection of premium wines crafted in six countries, that are enjoyed the world over.

From now until 22nd November 2016, guests to the pop-up are invited on a multi-sensory tasting journey of two distinct brand propositions from Winemakers’ portfolio of wines – Campo Viejo and Jacob’s Creek. Brand ambassadors will lead travellers through a guided tasting to discover the aromas and individual flavour characteristics in each variety.

One of the featured wines is Campo Viejo Winemaker’s Art, a Travel Retail exclusive. It is crafted from highly-concentrated Tempranillo grapes sourced from vineyards in the Rioja Alta region. The wine is then matured in oak barrels specifically selected by chief winemaker Elena Adell to preserve its red and dark fruit flavours.

Pernod Ricard Travel Retail EMEA is also offering visitors to the pop-up a gift with purchase of a pair of Riedel glasses when two bottles of Winemakers’ wines are selected.
