Honolulu International Airport (HNL) is the largest airport in the state of Hawai’i, located on the island of Oahu. This busy airport serves as a hub for Hawaiian Airlines and also services domestic and international carriers such as Japan Airlines, Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, United Airlines, China Eastern Airline and many more. HNL is just 4 miles northwest of downtown Honolulu and less than 2 miles from Waikiki Beach. It houses three terminals – Terminal 1 for interisland flights within Hawaii; Terminal 2 for international flights; and Commuter Terminal for regional airlines.

The upgrades are projected to significantly reduce congestion at peak times so passengers can get around faster and smoother than ever before.

When it comes to getting around HNL there are several transportation options available including rental cars, taxi service, shuttle buses operated by Roberts Hawaii Express Shuttle & Limousine Service as well as TheBus public bus system serving Oahu’s neighborhoods. A parking lot is also conveniently located near Terminals 1 & 2 with hourly rates starting at $2 per hour up to $25 per day for long term parking.
