Van Nuys Airport is an important business hub in the Greater Los Angeles area, located just 14 miles northwest of downtown LA. It is one of the world’s busiest general aviation airports, and the third busiest airport in the United States after Chicago O’Hare and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The airport has over 600 acres of property, including three runways, a heliport, and a variety of hangars and taxiways that make it an ideal location for business flights.

Van Nuys Airport was established in 1928 by businessman Carl Vinson, who would later become known as one of the most influential individuals in aviation history. Initially serving only military aircraft, it wasn’t until 1937 when commercial airlines began to operate out of the airport.
