What an improvement with new terminal. Pity about the queues for passport control and security

★★☆☆☆
Great new terminal, pity check in took so long.

★☆☆☆☆
March 2013 - Something of a nightmarish experience - chaotic security checks, multiple lines converging into a single conveyor belt with bags randomly thrown on. Then bizarrely a second security check as you go to your gate, obviously they don't trust the first one. Minimal seating areas in the terminal and limited facilities in an evening. Restrooms very poor - a lot of Muslim travellers wanting to wash their feet before prayers but no facilities to do so, meaning people having to put their feet into the hip-level sinks.

nice new airport, very impressive improvements were done, expensive , and getting to the airport is expensive too and not easy, every one is enjoying what they doing they were happy ( the employees ) that day, hope it keep in the way it is, and never go back to the way it was

Although airport was much better than the previous old building, services have not improved. Crowded checks at the Airport Gates for the flights departing to the United States and other gate are packed with people when it comes to boarding time.

★★★★★
The new terminal is great! Everything runs smoothly and quickly from the moment you enter the airport area, all the way to your specified gate.

the airport is pretty far away from the downtown, the taxi cost 30$ which is pretty expensive though the road do not have so much traffic. but it takes 20 minutes to reach the airport as the distance is almost 35km terminal facilities are pretty new and clean. wifi service is free for one hour only and its good one. food and retails are good to very good. Immigration and customs are easy and friendly if you have everything in hand. as for the baggage reclaim, a gift watch was stolen as from my baggage when I was coming from Dubai. they did compensate me. and this is a major concern for me in the future
- Alhaytham A. Aljadir

★★☆☆☆
The airport is nice although walking distnce is not easy you may miss your flight if your in hiry and didnt find a shuttle because you may find 1 or 2 and not all of them will accept to carry you if your in hirry its made for families with children and elderly I noticed that they put poison to the peagons inside the terminal instead of finding a smart way not to let them inside. Shame on them i have a photo for that
