SWITZERLAND. Zurich Airport retail and dining turnover reached CHF49.9 million (US$52.9 million) in October, a rise of +36.3% compared to October 2021. This was 94.1% of the 2019 monthly figure of CHF52.9 million.
The commercial figures were buoyed by a +49.8% leap in passenger traffic year-on-year, to 2.4 million. Airside spend per passenger slipped by -2.7% year-on-year to CHF23.20 (US$24.60).
For the first ten months, commercial turnover reached CHF420.3 million (US$445.5 million), with airside spend in the period of CHF23.80 (US$25.25), down -4.9% year-on-year.
