AUSTRALIA. Western Sydney Airport has appointed Glyn Williams to lead its retail development, shaping the shopping and dining experience for future customers at Sydney’s new gateway.
As General Manager Retail, Williams will oversee the planning and design of the retail offering for the much-anticipated Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport.
Williams, much respected in travel retail circles, was previously the General Manager, Retail at Sydney Airport from May 2014 to January 2019, where he drove the retail transformation of Terminals 1 and 2. Later he joined Harding Retail as Senior Vice President Asia Pacific, while earlier in his career he was Group General Manager Retail at Dexus Property Group and Regional General Manager at Westfield.
