Although new, and rapidly increasing by passengers per year, "Alexander the Great" has a long way to go in order to be considered one of the best airport on the Balkans (that is the goal that the airport wants to reach). In my opinion the main problem is that there are no regular shuttle buses. There is a shuttle bus, but on average it leaves every 3 hours! On the bright side, a taxi from the airport to city center costs only 20 euros.”

It's not the smallest airport I've been at, but it's not that big either. It has almost everything you might need from food and beverages to office supplies. It has great connections with the city of Skopje (bus, taxi, car rental, etc.).”
