Scorpio goes digital with Cath Kidston watch range

Scorpio Worldwide has extended its Cath Kidston watch range with a new digital watch.

The digital model is currently available with Aer Lingus, British Airways, Emirates, Air Asia Malaysia, Hong Kong Express, Tianjin Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Philippine Airlines, EVA, Tiger Taiwan and Etihad.

Scorpio said it is important to have brands such as Cath Kidston in its portfolio to meet the demands of fashion-motivated watch purchases

The Cath Kidston LCD watch, set in a gold-plated case, features the brand’s signature floral print on the strap. Other features include 12/24hr time display, alarm, stopwatch and backlight functions.

Scorpio Worldwide CEO Stuart McGuire said:

“The purchasing motivations of female travellers when watch buying tends to be much more fashion motivated, rather than a time-piece to keep. Having brands like Cath Kidston in our portfolio is therefore essential to ensure we have fashion brands that satisfy this demand.”

He added: “The brand is very popular in Asia and we have secured several important listings in the region. The uptake has been slightly slower in Europe, but we are confident that this new addition will have a much broader appeal.”
