Molsion eyewear pops up with Ever Rich at Taiwan Taoyuan International

Molsion, part of the Essilor Group since 2013, is being highlighted in two spaces with Ever Rich Duty Free at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.

A Terminal 1 Departures pop-up outlet, running until 31 August, features reflective mirror walls, custom-built fixtures, digital screens and brand ambassador images.

Molsion sunglasses are also featured in a High Profile Promotion (HPP) space in Terminal 2, at the front of the eyewear zone. The promotion will run until September.

“The prominent display at the front of the eyewear zone within the store has effectively helped to increase visibility for Molsion, with extremely encouraging results,” Essilor stated.

The company said it aims to expand Molsion’s distribution in duty free locations in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. Essilor is also looking to secure further animation opportunities for Molsion with duty free retailers.

High-profile promotions will run throughout the summer

Molsion launched in the APAC market at this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore. Molsion eyewear is available in all Ever Rich Duty Free outlets and in South Korean duty free with The Shilla Duty Free, Lotte Duty Free and Jeju Tourism Organization (JTO).

The range targets the 18-25 age group and offers 100 designs including mirror-finished lenses and metal frames, at a US$80 price point.

The unisex collection is said to ‘redesign’ classic and avant-garde styles.

“Molsion evolves with trends and fashion stylists’ collaboration. It’s definitely funky: fashion is part of the brand identity,” Essilor said.
