Modern day gold rush: Scented Space’s ‘world-first’ diffuser launches with Lagardère at Melbourne Airport

Australian fragrance diffuser specialist Scented Space has launched its new 24 carat gold leaf diffuser with Lagardère Travel Retail at Melbourne Airport.

The gold diffuser range, available in White Lily and Green Tea fragrances, is inspired by the gold rush days from central Victoria. The diffusers, said to be a ‘world-first’, are presented in packaging that is designed to target Asian travellers.

“With their [Asians] love of travel, and having the highest spend per passenger, we believe there is significant potential to further increase their buying and spend within duty free,” said Scented Space.

“We note that many Asian tourists like to return home with gifts for their friends to show that they have travelled abroad. We think that the combination of a fragranced gift, that is Australian made, will appeal well to this customer.”

Happy customers: Scented Space aims to provide travellers with a memorable experience of Australia

Lagardère Travel Retail is offering an exclusive gwp offer to support the launch. Customers who purchase a gold 100ml or 75ml diffuser receive a 24 carat gold perfume roll-on.

Scented Space is owned by Apsley & Company, founded by Helen Armstrong and David Daff. Scented Space fragrances are made from a formulation which contains 90% fragrance oil, no added water and no artificial colours.
