Gordon Ramsay “delighted” to partner with SSP for Hong Kong International Airport restaurant

CHINA (HONG KONG). Gordon Ramsay has praised SSP and Hong Kong International Airport after partnering with the pair to open an F&B unit at the airport.

Gordon Ramsay Plane Food To Go, located in the East Hall, is one of seven new restaurants to form part of a major upgrade of the F&B offer in Terminal 1.

Ramsay has integrated British and Asian flavours to create new dishes exclusive to the airport, such as The Grilled Cuttlefish & Pork Patty Bun and the Lobster Thermidor Mac & Cheese.

The on-the-go menu features signature Gordon Ramsay dishes including Short Rib Burger (Minced short rib topped with tomato, gherkins, Singletons Mature Cheddar Cheese and a Chimichurri mayonnaise) and Californian Fried Chicken Burger (Buttermilk puffed rice chicken, served with a creamy yoghurt dressing).

The morning offering includes a Full English Breakfast (featuring Dingley Dell Cumberland sausages, streaky smoked bacon, grilled Portobello mushrooms, slow-cooked tomato, baby spinach, fried eggs and toast) and the Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich (a brioche bun packed full of breakfast items topped with a fried egg).

Ramsay commented:

“It is wonderful to be launching Plane Food To Go to all the amazing guests travelling through Hong Kong International Airport. As someone who spends a lot of time in airports, I know how important it is to deliver fresh and tasty food super quickly. SSP has such an important infrastructure which has allowed this launch to happen and I’m delighted they’re our partners in this exciting new adventure.
