The 2016 OAG Punctuality League report has been published and it’s congratulations to UK airline Flybe for being number 1 in the UK and an impressive 6th worldwide (an improvement of 11 places from 2015 were they were placed 17th).
Executive chairman Simon Laffin, said: “Flybe operates more than 450 flights a day in very crowded airspace and busy airports, and in often very challenging weather conditions. This official, independent recognition for our on time performance is therefore really heartening. Time is of the essence for all our passengers, whether they be travelling for business or leisure and it remains a key consideration for passengers when choosing an airline.
“We are extremely proud to be the number one airline in the UK and number six globally for our 2016 On Time Performance and we will be working hard now to improve even further in 2017.”
