Dubai Airports launches major food & beverage tender for Concourse A

UAE. Dubai Airports is inviting potential partners to tender for a series of key food & beverage outlets at Dubai International Concourse A. The tenders cover a range of F&B categories, including coffee shops, grab & go units, casual dining and licensed offers.

Dubai Airports said it aimed to deliver “the best in food quality, service and satisfaction levels for our ever-demanding customers”.

Dubai Airports said it “invites experienced and resourceful F&B operators having experience in executing similar works in airports and meeting the eligibility criteria”.

 

These criteria include:

  • Airport/high footfall hub experience of at least three years;
  • Currently operating a minimum of three outlets, with an annual turnover of at least AED20 million;
  • A licence to operate within the UAE.

The airport company noted: “Dubai Airports aspires to be the ‘Airport of Choice’ for the millions of customers it welcomes each year. Concourse A opened in 2013 as part of Terminal 3 and is used exclusively by Emirates Airline. Concourse A is the world’s only purpose-built facility for the Airbus A380 and features multi-level boarding for first and business class passengers directly from the respective lounges. At the time, the facility increased airport capacity from 60 million passengers to 75 million passengers a year. The airport will handle an estimated 89 million travellers in 2017.
