GERMANY. Over 33 million passengers flew from Berlin Schönefeld and Berlin Tegel airports combined in 2017, a +1.3% increase year-on-year.
At Berlin Schönefeld, 12,865,312 passengers travelled in 2017 representing a +10.4% growth. At Tegel, a -3.4% slide traffic saw 20,460,688 passengers travel through in the year.
Traffic at both airports for December 2017 experienced a -17.1% decline on the previous year with 2,158,590 passengers travelling through. Schönefeld served 978,366 passengers in the month (-5.3%), while at Tegel there was a total of 1,180,224, 24.8 % fewer passengers than last year.
