Acqua di Parma opens counter at Munich Airport

Acqua di Parma has opened a counter at Munich Airport in partnership with Gebr Heinemann.

The Italian fragrance specialist said this is part of a “rapid programme of boosting travel retail”. It also has counters at Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino, Paris Charles de Gaulle, London Heathrow, Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, Frankfurt, Copenhagen and Dubai International airports.

Acqua di Parma said it chose Munich airport for its “major strategic importance as a hub for international traffic”.

The new counter is located in an area of high passenger traffic, just beyond security and close to the duty free shop, said the brand.

The store concept, which is consistent across Acqua di Parma’s international boutiques, features the brand’s signature yellow décor and aims to create a “sunny Italian ambience” that is “sophisticated and welcoming”.

The collection includes Acqua di Parma’s flagship collections, among them Colonia, Barbiere, Le Nobili, Blu Mediterraneo, and the Ingredient Collection.

Customers can make use of a personalisation service to have the brand’s distinctive hat box-style packaging hot-stamped.

The brand said the Munich counter “offers travellers a complete vision of the world of Acqua di Parma”.
