Riga Luchthaven (IATA: RIX, ICAO: EVRA), is een luchthaven die de Riga gebied in Latvia. Riga is de hoofdstad van Letland’ en RIX is de grootste luchthaven in de Baltische Staten. Het is de thuisbasis van 76 rechtstreekse bestemmingen en SmartLynx Airlines en airBaltic, de grootste luchtvaartmaatschappij op de luchthaven, hebben er hun hubs. Het werd gebouwd in 1973 en is eigendom van Letland. Ze moderniseerden de luchthaven in 2001 op de 800e verjaardag van de stichting van Riga. In 2016 werd een nieuwe uitbreiding van de terminal geopend.
RIX heeft één landingsbaan en één terminal met twee verdiepingen en 36 incheckbalies. Je vindt er het gebruikelijke winkel-, eet- en drinkaanbod dat je op de meeste luchthavens aantreft, en er zijn verschillende pieren voor aankomsten en vertrekken. De drukste route van en naar Riga Airport is die naar Londen.
Vervoer van en naar de luchthaven omvat bussen en treinen via het Rail Baltica-project, dat in 2018 werd voltooid. Er zijn drie parkeerterreinen met 1.500 parkeerplaatsen voor zowel lang- als kort parkeren voor degenen die ervoor kiezen om met de auto te komen.
