Luxury cosmetics brand Guerlain has bolstered its lip offer with new KissKiss Matte collection.
The line of “hydrating and plumping” lipsticks is available now in global travel retail. Each lipstick is priced at around US$36.
According to Guerlain, KissKiss Matte lipsticks are “as intense as a lipstick and as comfortable as a balm.” The product is formulated with hyaluronic acid and Nigella sativa oil, which nourish and plump lips, while a chilli derivative is said to boost the smile by performing a hot and cold skin micro-massage.
Guerlain described the lipstick as a “genuine object of desire”
Nine KissKiss Matte shades are available, including Spicy Burgundy, Zesty Orange, Hot Coral and Daring Pink.
As reported, Guerlain recently teamed up with Sunrise Duty Free to promote the KissKiss Matte collection via a WeChat Tetris game. Within ten days of its launch, the campaign attracted 18,582 page views and 10,000 players.
The lipsticks are housed in gold, matte packaging, created by French designer Hervé Van der Straeten.
Guerlain has also launched its first liquid lipstick, called Intense Liquid Matte. The product, available in seven shades, provides a matte effect and is said to sculpt the lips. Ingredients include hyaluronic acid and centella asiatica which aim to provide long-lasting comfort.
