Desigual has launched its AW17 Extraordinary collection for kids in travel retail.
The collection is described as “a world of styles and combinations for children to pretend to be whatever they want”. Collection highlights include the girls’ reversible bomber with sequins and the easy dress with a 3-in-1 skirt, t-shirt and shirt.
The AW17 clothing line includes bugs to school prints (school-inspired insect characters featuring khaki and green camo prints); reds and blues for dresses and t-shirts; microflower with tiny flower details and denim with sporty floral or tie dye motifs. The collection also offers a Disney line: Frozen for girls and Star Wars for boys.
Desigual’s ‘big&small’ concept features in the collection, meaning that girls can wear replica items from the women’s collection. The bugs to school and helter skelter styles are replicated on baby items.
Desigual said the collection features “countless options” which allow girls to be a number of characters, including princesses, athletes and hippies
