UAE. Bvlgari and Dubai Duty Free this week celebrated the opening of a Peter Marino-concept boutique at Dubai International Airport Concourse B. The boutique offers jewellery, watches, accessories and perfumes.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony, held on 24 January, was officiated by Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin and Dubai Duty Free Chief Operating Officer Ramesh Cidambi.
Other Dubai Duty Free executives present included Senior Vice President Purchasing Saba Tahir; Senior Vice President –Retail Sales Sean Staunton; and Senior Vice President – Retail Support Michael Schmidt; together with Bvlgari Sales Director MEA George Bechara.

Peter Marino is the principal of Peter Marino Architect, a New York firm that has carved out a strong reputation in the luxury sector for its innovation in architecture and interior design. He is renowned for integrating art within his architectural designs.
In 2017 he was tasked with renovating the Bvlgari flagship on New York’s Fifth Avenue. “I wanted the New York store to express the Bvlgari identity with strong Roman references and Roman ideas of colour and form,” he told Architectural Digest. “When I think about the identity of Bvlgari, I think about the southern Italian sun.”
Marino’s design concept is featured in numerous other Bvlgari stores, including those London, Kuala Lumpur, Moscow and the brand’s flagship shop in Rome.
