Hang Nadim International Airport, located in Batam, Indonesia is the main airport serving the nearby city of Singapore. It is one of the busiest airports in the country and has seen a steady growth in passenger traffic since it opened in 1985. The airport is named after Hang Nadim, a famous Malay hero who was famous for his bravery and loyalty to the Sultan of Johor.
