Walsh Whiskey – part of the Amber Beverage Group – has released the 2022 vintage Writers’ Tears Cask Strength, a super-premium expression.
This year’s vintage is limited to 7,920 bottles, with 2,100 bottles destined for the USA. It is available in selected markets, including travel retail, with a recommended retail price of US$150.
The 12th edition features a blend of single pot still and single malt whiskey, triple distilled, natural non-chill filtered and aged in American oak bourbon barrels. With a 54.6% ABV, each bottle is numbered and carries the signature of Writers’ Tears Creator and Walsh Whiskey Co-founder Bernard Walsh.
