Loch Lomond launch duty free range

Loch Lomond is launching it’s first duty free Scotch whiskey collection at Glasgow Airport. The range consists of two single malts, the Loch Lomond Signature, and the Loch Lomond Single Grain.

Fred Creighton, World Duty Free Managing Director said: “We’re delighted to offer our Glasgow Airport customers the opportunity to purchase and enjoy the local Loch Lomond Whiskies’ exciting new travel exclusive range before anyone else. This very special collection is only available at the airport and it’s great to be able to offer our customers the opportunity to take a piece of Glaswegian heritage away with them, to remember their trip by.”

Glasgow Airport Commercial Director Francois Bourienne added: “It’s exciting to be the first international airport to offer Loch Lomond’s new bespoke global travel retail range. We’re also very proud to be supporting a brand based so close to Glasgow Airport on the shores of Loch Lomond, one of Scotland’s most beautiful and iconic attractions. Many of our customers will probably fly over the distillery itself – one of the whisky world’s best kept secrets.”

The whiskies are available in 90 markets internationally. We’re confident that we are offering something new and unique to the marketplace that will deliver strong sales and a sense of discovery for whisky drinkers around the world.”

The Loch Lomond Group is headed by CEO Colin Matthews and operates Loch Lomond distillery at Alexandria in Dunbartonshire and Glen Scotia distillery in the Argyllshire port of Campbeltown. Additionally, the group’s Glen Catrine Bonded Warehouse in Ayrshire is one of Scotland’s largest independent bottling facilities and handles not only whisky but Loch Lomond Group’s vodka, gin, rum and brandy brands.
