Hobart Airport, located in Tasmania’s capital city of Hobart, is the major international and domestic gateway for the state. It is owned and operated by the Tasmanian Government and serves as a hub for all air transport needs. The airport handles over two million passengers per year, making it one of Australia’s busiest regional airports. The airport has two runways and operates 24 hours a day. Additionally, there is an on-site customs office to facilitate international travel.

Hobart Airport has been actively investing in its infrastructure since 2002 and has seen considerable growth in passenger numbers since then. As part of this development process a brand new terminal was built with modern amenities for travelers including spacious terminals with comfortable seating areas plus enhanced baggage handling capabilities to make checking-in easier for customers.
