Walsh Whiskey Distillery’s The Irishman – Single Malt has won four awards at the 2018 London Spirits Competition, which took place on March 8-9.
It beat off 470 entries to claim the overall ‘Spirit of the Year’ award and also won ‘Whiskey of the Year’, a Gold Medal award and ‘Best in Show from Ireland’.
The London Spirits Competition judges spirits on three criteria: drinkability, value and appearance (to include packaging).
