The Loop Duty Free New Zealand gears up for the return of international travel

NEW ZEALAND. Aer Rianta International’s (ARI) The Loop Duty Free New Zealand is gearing up to welcome back international travellers. On 2 May, travellers coming from over 50 visa-free countries will be able to enter New Zealand without restrictions as the country reopens its borders for the first time after 772 days.

Since the pandemic hit in March 2020, New Zealand has implemented one of the strictest COVID-19 restrictions in the world. As new variants took hold, mandatory quarantine rules, vaccine roll-outs and travel restrictions have curtailed international travel in the country
