Previously known as TACA Airlines, Avianca El Salvador (TA) was founded in 1931. It was renamed in 2013, following the airline’s merger with Avianca. The carrier operates from a primary hub at Monseñor Óscar Arnulfo Romero Airport (SAL) and secondary hubs at La Aurora Int’l Airport (GUA), Ramón Villeda Morales Int’l Airport (SAP) and Miami Airport (MIA). It flies to 50 destinations in 22 countries in Central America, South America, North America and the Caribbean. Avianca El Salvador has a fleet of 58 Airbus and Embraer planes, each of which is configured with Business Class and Economy Class cabins.
