Founded in 2012, Spring Airlines Japan (IJ) is a low-cost carrier headquartered and based at Narita Airport (NRT). It is 33 percent owned by Chinese budget carrier Spring Airlines (9C). The airline currently flies to Hiroshima Airport (HIJ), Saga Airport (HSG) and Takamatsu Airport (TAK) in addition to Narita. Its fleet of three Boeing 737-800 each has a two-cabin (Premium Economy Class and Economy Class) configuration.
