The airport is also served by several other major airlines including United Airlines, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and JetBlue Airways. SLC offers direct flights to more than 80 cities across the United States, as well as international destinations in Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia.

The airport consists of two terminals – Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2). T1 is the main terminal and services most domestic flights while T2 services some international flights. Both terminals are equipped with modern amenities such as WiFi access throughout the terminal buildings, electronic information kiosks to provide flight information and currency exchange services. There are also several restaurants and shops available for travelers before or after their flight.

In addition to its commercial air traffic services, Salt Lake City International Airport also operates general aviation facilities at South Valley Regional Airport (U42), which serves private aircrafts from around the world. They are also planning improvements to parking lots by increasing short-term parking spaces near Departures/Arrivals area for quick access to airports or adding more electric vehicle charging stations for improved environmental sustainability efforts.

Salt Lake City International Airport strives to make travel as easy and stress free as possible for its passengers with features like pre-screened security lanes that reduce wait times at security check points or an automated passport control system designed to simplify customs processing procedures upon arrival into the United States from abroad. Overall this efficient design promotes quicker trips through all stages of a traveler’s journey while providing them with an enhanced safety experience within their travels.

Salt Lake City Airport Reviews

★★★★☆
Not enough seating. Navigating through the airport requires some level of confidence.
- Cameron Tu

★★★☆☆
Building is pretty old and bland. Connecting flights is easy though.
- Yukisato Fujita

★★★★☆
Great smoking lounge.

★★★★★
Best free unlimited airport wi fi
- Devin Broadbent

★★★★☆
SLC is starting to look a little tired, but that's not to say it's a bad airport. Facilities are well-kept and clean.. being a connecting hub, signage is very easy. Generally speaking it takes no more than 5-7 minutes to travel between two concourses (i.e. B gates to D gates). The smoking lounges located in the middle of every concourse are very well appreciated; smoke is quickly ventilated out (and there is no tobacco smell outside the lounge). SLC also has one of the best airport WiFi's; fast and free.
- Cameron Tu

★★★★★
Salt Lake City is one of the more convenient airports to depart from, with two terminals interconnected both airside and landside, making connections between different airlines a snap. The covered parking garage is also connected to both terminals, and a full size 18 hole golf course "WingPointe" is a short walk away. Public transportation options have increased as of April 2013, with a new light rail system connecting the airport to downtown Salt Lake City, although it is quite a walk if you are flying in or out of Terminal 2. Terminal 1 houses American Airlines/US Airways, Frontier Airlines, jetBlue Airways, Alaska Airlines, United Airlines, and Southwest Airlines, while Terminal 2 houses Delta Air Lines' hub operations.
- George Andritsakis

★★★★★
Really good airport, easy, simple and small, but easy to manage. Flight times are reduced because it is so convenient. Really Suggest using this airport any chance you get! The staff are spectacular and all of the resources are pretty good. There is a limitation on food and shopping just because it is so small; however, it is overall a great airport.
- Caleb

★★☆☆☆
Quite an ugly airport, especially the check-in areas. I also think that the airport is inefficiently run. In the morning there were around 600 people waiting in the first terminal at the TSA control while there were 5 in the other terminal. Once you pass the control you come to the other part of the airport where there are barely any food restaurants and where there is not a singly decent coffee place where you can sit, relax, have a cup of coffee...
- Nemanja Shukalo

★★★★☆
Bonneville salt flats is where its at and oasis cafe is where the foods at but also copper onion is where the expensive food is at
- Min Chan

★★★★★
I had a medical emergency. The airport and Delta airline employees took great care of me. I just was supposed to have a connection and they made sure to contact me regarding my bags.
