The country’s flag carrier, Philippine Airlines (PR) was founded in 1935 as Philippine Aerial Taxi Company. It operates from a primary hub at Ninoy Aquino Airport (MNL) and a secondary hub at Mactan-Cebu Airport (CEB). Philippine Airlines flies to seven domestic destinations and more than 35 international destinations in 20 countries across Asia, North America, Oceania and Europe. The airline also has codeshare agreements with nine other carriers.
