Due to the current contracts of Motta International and Grupo Wisa expiring at the end of the month, the bidding for three 700sqm retail spaces at Panama Tocumen International airport will take place next month.
A spokeswoman for the airport confirmed: “We are looking for an operator with experience in multiple airports around the world. A company can bid for more than one space; two maximum. There will be two winners; one company will have one space and the other company will have two spaces.”
“The company should be operating in several countries, with experience of a number of years managing duty-free stores and [demonstrate] economic solvency. All the companies can participate if they fill all the requirements needed for the bidding.”
