Founded in 2008, OpenSkies (EC) is an airline owned by British Airways (BA). It is headquartered in Rungis, France, and operates from a hub at Paris’s Orly Airport (ORY). OpenSkies offers direct trans-Atlantic flights between ORY and two New York-area airports, John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) and Newark Liberty Airport (EWR). Its fleet consists of three Boeing 757–200 planes with Biz Bed (Business Class), Prem Plus (Premium Economy Class) and Eco (Economy Class) cabins. Passengers earn frequent flier miles through BA’s Executive Club program and Biz Bed travelers have access to BA’s Galleries Lounge at New York airports and OpenSkies’ “212 Orly West” lounge in Orly.
