Deze luchthaven heeft twee asfaltbanen. De ene is 3.270 meter lang en de andere is 3.000 meter lang. Meer dan 6 miljoen passagiers passeerden de poorten van haar vier terminals op haar 76.852 vliegtuigbewegingen in 2020, wat minder verkeer is dan de 29,7 passagiers in 2019.
PMI bedient commerciële, vracht- en Spaanse luchtmachtvluchten. De luchthaven begon toen twee kleinere vliegvelden in 1958 werden samengevoegd. Het grondverkeer omvat opties zoals bussen, autoverhuur, taxi’s en ander openbaar vervoer. Er is parkeergelegenheid in overvloed, sommige dicht bij de terminal, maar andere langparkeerders zijn slechts een ritje met de shuttle. Er is ook parkeergelegenheid voor EV’s.
