Le Clos launches VinGardeValise wine suitcase

UAE. Airport fine wine & spirits retailer Le Clos has joined forces with American premium wine suitcase provider VinGardeValise to give travellers at Dubai International the ability to transport bottles and glasses safely and securely.

The VinGardeValise is a high-quality, shatterproof and light polycarbonate case designed to protect its contents through transit. Key features include a TSA locking system, durable interior support and temperature control.

The removable, high-density and open-cell foam inserts ensure bottles remain in place during transport. They can also be customised to hold a range of bottle sizes and shapes. The case can also be used to carry clothing.

The Petite VinGardeValise is priced at AED1,250 (US$340) at Le Clos outlets at Dubai International. It can carry up to eight bottles and weighs just 4kg when empty. With dimensions of 46.5cm (w) x 57.5cm (h) x 30.2cm (d), the case complies with carry-on luggage restrictions.

The customisable interior can fit various shapes and sizes of bottles and also carry clothing

Le Clos General Manager Ben Odgers commented: “We are very proud to have the opportunity to offer our customers this innovative solution for transporting bottles – available exclusively here in Dubai. With our offering starting from just US$28 right through to some of the rarest bottles in the world, and with customers from all four corners of the globe passing through Dubai Airport, Le Clos is the perfect launch pad for the VinGardeValise.”

In travel retail VinGardeValise is distributed exclusively through GTRD. The travel retail distribution company’s Director Hauke Marquardt added: “The VinGardeValise solves the problem of safe transport of wine bottles in the best and most flexible way and therefore encourages travellers to buy more and higher-quality wine.”
