The Piedmont Triad International Airport, located in Greensboro, North Carolina, is a regional airport that serves as the primary hub for air travel in the state. It is owned and operated by the Piedmont-Triad Airport Authority (PTAA), and is the largest commercial airport in the region. With over 4 million passengers flying through it each year, the PTI Airport is a major gateway to the Triad and surrounding areas.

The Piedmont Triad International Airport offers nonstop flights to several major cities within the United States. Its most popular destinations include Charlotte, Atlanta, Washington D.C., New York City, and Chicago. Additionally, flights are available to many international destinations such as London, Paris, Munich, Toronto and Cancun. When combined with its close proximity to other airports in NC’s Research Triangle (RDU) and nearby Virginia Beach (ORF), passengers have access to even more destinations all over the globe.

In addition to being an important source of passenger travel, PTI also serves as a strategic cargo hub for FedEx Express cargo operations.
