★★★★★
Excellent airport. Small but complete facilities

★★★☆☆
Back in the 90's I flew on business alot. One client was in Kalamata and I usually flew there from Athens . On arriving at the airport to return to Athens one evening with our Greek agent, we were waiting in the departure lounge when the airport manager approached us and said " I don't know why you are here but I guess it must be important". with that ,he ushered us into his office and ordered drinks and snacks for us. The reason he did this was,I believe, because in those days I used to make my own travel arrangements through a travel agent and my contact there had marked my file with VIP status. Amusing but thoroughly enjoyable experience.
